I've checked out the HEAD, and I'm currently building everything from scratch (takes litterally days on my 450MHz machine). I've found one glitch in singularity/singularity.conf.mk: should be singularity_GARHOST = $(shell gcc -dumpmachine) instead of i386-pc-linux-gnu. On my RedHat 9, I get i386-redhat-linux -- alain.
