Looks like libmii is a becker lib. You could either try adding -ULIBMII to the CFLAGS in gar/net/becker-ethernet-tools/Makefile (but I think that Scyld overrides the CFLAGS anyway). Otherwise it seems as if you're not finding libmii.o in the singularity directory for some reason (which is one place where you find the missing routines). Include the compilation/link command to show what it's including for the link step. Just knowing what C compiler/ linker you're using at this step is a big help to pinpoint the problem.
