Indeed it's not. My point was merely that lnx-bbc, as the boot message says, 
is a tool for those who know what they're doing or if they don't know, have 
the nous to investigate the matter in a reasoned way. 'man cdrecord' would be 
the very first place to start in such a reasoned investigation and as you 
pointed out, it would have answered the question. If someone is 
unwilling/unable to carry out such a reasoned investigation, I just don't 
think that lnx-bbc is the tool for him.
