Hold on there bald eagle, and let's remember where this thread came from. Someone said that the FAQ was missing instructions as to how to use cdrecord to burn a BBC. I merely pointed out that IMHO if you weren't up to using 'man cdrecord' to find that out, maybe LNX-BBC wasn't for you. I have absolutely no objection to making LNX-BBC more useful to people, the original question had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the usefulness (or otherwise) of LNX-BBC and I fail to see how my remarks could be construed as objecting to its being made more useful to people. > Consider that there are easily a thousand programs on this > little disc. This is a valid point - I'm using LNX-BBC for a little while now, and I still come across some goodies. I don't object at all to telling people about those, but I don't apologise for my views that it IS an expert's tool, and a very good one at that. It is NOT very good as a Linux on a CD demonstration - for this, Knoppix and its derivatives are much better. -- Niall O Broin
