ISO sizes

What is the maximum size of the ISO image for a business
card CD?

If I do a "cdrecord -atip" on a blank media I get  

  ATIP start of lead in:  -11634 (97:26/66)
  ATIP start of lead out: 26850 (06:00/00)

Does this mean that the ISO image can be 26850*2048 = 54988800 
bytes?  Is there some other factor?

When the manufacturer says that the CDR media is 50MB, does that
mean 50 * 10^6 bytes, 50 * 2^20 bytes, or what?
