It's not necessarily remedial, I had also wondered how much audio data really means how many bits. Among other things, I wouldn't want to be 62 bytes oversize and only discover it when I've made a coaster out of some nice bizcard sized blank. I also wondered all that time ago when I got started, about the real size of my blanks, and -atip is of course the right answer to that.
