... missing framebuffer support. Hi! When I booted our lnx-bbc distro :-) I selected options 2 or 3. I received the following message: "You passed an undefined mode number" Then I pressed SPACE to continue. After I login as root I typed 'startx' and I received the following message: "Can't locate module /dev/fb/0" I confirmed it doesn't exist. I couldn't find a file like fb.o under /lib/modules so I imagine the kernel doesn't support framebuffer through modules, is it compiled statically? I tried lnx-bbc at 2 somewhat old machines (Celerons 300MHz) without luck. Is it a video card problem or a kernel choice one? TIA for your help and all your hard work. - Roberto Mendoza - Argentina
