Greetings! Thankyou for developing this operating system - it sounds wonderful...however... I have tried booting Lnx-BBC on my AMD, but it repeatedly comes up with this message: Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 01:00 I have tried different graphic modes (they all work), and the "prompt" option to no avail - it always comes up with the same message, complete with flashing keyboard lights. Being an enthusiastic but dumb newbie to Linux, I'm not sure what this message means. I have burned the iso onto a regular large sized CD-R (that was all I had) instead of a business card type. Do you think this could be the problem? Here is my relevant config to the best if my knowledge: AMD 900 Mhz processor overclocked to 1200 128 Meg Ram I have been running Win 2000 for some time now without a problem Thanks, Craig Jackson ___________________________________________________ Check-out GO.com GO get your free GO E-Mail account with expanded storage of 6 MB! http://mail.go.com
