Currently I am in the process of using LNX-BBC as a bootstrap host to build and install Gentoo on some ancient (1998) problematic hardware which wouldn't boot the Gentoo install CD. Whenever I need some utility that isn't yet constructed and available under Gentoo (e.g. ftp), I just start another LNX-BBC session and run from there. This is all so cool.
