Downloading LNX-BBC problem

I have been trying out version 1.618 and am impressed so I thought I
would download 2.1 but when I try the HTTP site I eventually end up
with a page starting:

=01CD001=01   instead of opening the Firefox downloader.

The bittorrent site says access denied to 111 (or something similar).
I have tried opening port 111 on my Smoothwall firewall to no effect.

Please can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?
