I'm just a layman in this. What is the risk of bricking the device? Is there a manual available to flash the device to coreboot?

That said, as the board isn't currently supported, it would require some dev work to port. But there are already other Alderlake-N devices in the tree, so it would not be an insurmountable challenge.

P.S. Any electronics with the closed source firmware may be spying on
