Hi Folks,

this is the first release of the new stable versions of the Bluetooth
library and the utilities. The new major version number was chosen,
because this release contains the new BlueZ D-Bus API for an easy access
to the Bluetooth technology. The Bluetooth library itself is fully API
compatible to the previous release.

One of the backward incompatible changes is that the PIN helper concept
no longer exists. The new BlueZ D-Bus API provides now a full passkey
agent implementation that is a lot more flexible. Some configuration
options, like security mode 3 for example, have been removed. All needed
configuration will be done over the BlueZ D-Bus API in the future and
any changes a stored permanently.

I made this release on Lufthansa flight LH 782 to Bangkok where I will
attend the Bluetooth UnPlugFest 24. So happy unplugging and testing.
