So as a user, ideally, to get Twinkle co-operating with the bluetooth headset's microphone, one should need only (A) to create an ~/.asoundrc file looking like this:

pcm.bluetooth {
   type bluetooth
   device 11:22:33:44:55:66
}

and then (B) in Twinkle, to select Edit> System Settings...> Audio and set "Microphone" to "ALSA: other device" and put "bluetooth" in the "Other Device" text-field, correct?

Is this to say: I've done all a user can for the time being? Other configuration is or should be required?

Thanks. Sorry to re-ask this question, I just wanted to clarify what I've tried, which doesn't seem like much.
