Emulating a gps receiver

Hello

   I  needed a gps receiver  simulator to  test different navigator 
applications. This receiver should only send  few nmea-183 sentences via 
bluetooth to mobile phone. However apparently there is not such software 
for the Linux platform so i though to try hack something myself.

  I could connect an ordinary  receiver to Linux  box and read it's 
output but as a   Bluetooth newbie i do not have any clue how to  make a 
computer looks like a receiver.

  I can search the bt devices with the phone and computer is listed there 
but apparently i had to run some daemon to link the bluetooth and rfcomm 
devices together. According my experiences so far this application is not 
rfcomm:-(


  Any pointers welcome.
