        I have a Logitech MX5000 keyboard. It tends to disconnect from
        the
        computer after a few minutes of non-use. I have found that this
        is
        typical of this keyboard and no one has provided a solution yet.
        The
        only way to get it back is to break out the wired keyboard and
        enter the
        command   sudo /etc/init.d/bluetooth restart.

        what some on the ubuntu forums suggested is to enter the
        following into
        crontab

        * * * * * val=`hciconfig -a 2>/dev/null | head -c 1`; [ -z
        $val ]
        && /etc/init.d/bluetooth restart

        which works great, but now i get a notify bubble stating that my
        "a
        device has been made discoverable" every about 60 seconds.
        Is there a way to disable this notification?

        and i guess the bigger question, though not what i need for the
        moment,
        is can you provide a patch that will fix this issue?

        Thank You
