Question about bug management and contributing

Hello everyone,
I’m a new user interested in contributing to BusyBox and I have a question:
Should I consult reported bugs primarily on the Bugzilla bug tracker, or is it also okay to refer to the GitHub mirror?
When I try to access Bugzilla, I see database errors and cannot view the bugs properly.
I would also like guidance on the correct workflow to contribute to the project, even with my initial experience. What is the recommended way to report or comment on a bug and start contributing?
