I'm at a total loss?
/b is the latest snap
/R is robang74 setup

20168	./b
20168	./b/busybox

Almost twice the size?
39936	./R
39936	./R/busybox

Comparison of just first character
# cut -b1 <diff-busybox-20260413.tar.bz2-busyboxR | sort | uniq -c
    140
 185837 +
   1806 -
   1680 @
    419 B
   1666 d

So, robang74 has 185837 additional lines ahd 1806 lines removed.

Strange thing is that with my .config file those difference result in
basically the same results.
 cmp -l busybox-1.38 busybox-1.38R
   809 177 151
   810 13 306
   812 175 242
   813 131 157
   814 3 111
   815 256 262
   816 147 174
   817 135 16
   818 11 142
   819 76 250
   820 314 144
   821 243 227
   822 173 300
   823 345 262
   824 37 147
   825 214 40
   826 132 60
   827 166 215
   828 27 137
479033 61 62
479034 63 60
479036 60 62
479037 71 61
479039 60 61
479040 70 61
479042 62 64
479043 63 62

Comparing the 1.37 and 1.38
cmp -l busybox-1.37 busybox-1.38 | wc -l
cmp: EOF on ‘busybox-1.37’ after byte 468376
445339

So, I'll stick to using the busybox 1.38 git since it is well beyond my
understanding. If it ain't broke don't fix it, but if it is broke needs to
be fixed.
