kernel panic on om-2.6.12_r577

Hello,

For some reason I am not able to migrate a simple process with a 2.6
kernel 'echo 127.0.0.1 > /proc/{pid}/om/where'. I am using the
parse-tree from openmosix.snarc.org (dated: 2005-07-23). The oops is
really huge, and not logged on disk :( The end looks like this:

---
Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address ffae72c1
  printing eip:
c01048f1
*pde = 00000000
Recursive die() failure, output suppressed
<0>Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt
---

As it mentions a 'recursive die()', the size of the oops could be
related to this. If needed, I could try to log full message. Maybe over
a serial line, or using xen. Both need to be setup first. Could someone
tell me wich solution is best/easiest for this purpose?

Is there maybe an older revision with working migration? Or what
processes are possible to migrate?

Thanks for the help,
