Hello, For school, i'm trying to do clustering with openmosix. We took kernel sources 2.4.26 and we patched it with openmosix patch. We chose the different openmosix options before compiling it. It was done on a P4 and an Athlon After rebooting, the computers were seeing each other and openmosix test tool was working, dispatching load between these 2 computers (in autodiscovery mode or in static mode with a .map file). I just want to say that these machines are linked thru switches and there's no routers in-between) After, we tested with other computer (3 or 4). We couldn't make it working (in static or in autodiscovery) These machines were linked in a cluster and we couldn't join it. Computers are talking to each other but cannot associate (except our 2 first computers). A strange thing is that in 'mosmon' tool (in autodiscovery mode) we can see other computer but they disappear after a short time. In openmosixview, they are in red (down) We checked that there wasn't any iptables rules blocking openmosix data. We also tested with a precompiled kernel from openmosix (still 2.4.26) without success. Then i fired up ethereal to see data packets and analyse it. Openmosix UDP packets from and to our 2 computers are about 48 bytes and packets between our machine to the others are a little bit greater than 200 bytes. What is strange is that our machine send data to these machine and they aren't associated in the cluster. Can someone help me about it?
