i have duel xeon servers some of them running Mandriva and other Redhat and some runs Solaris. can i deploy mosix for such a envirnoment all of them currently running 2.6 linux kernel. and i know mosix is not for soloris so it is not a issue. i also was thinking that why Particle swarm optimization (J. Kennedy) based technique is feasable for scheduling in cluster. it can track moving optimials values pretty good. if any of you interested in applying swarm intellegence to cluster or grid for increasing there efficiency please contact me.
