The latter. I don't know how much linux 2.6 changed with respect to
2.4, but I suspect that porting oM 2.4 to the 2.6 kernel would be
quite a lot of work. Instead, I got the new 2.6 code from and made
sure it applies cleanly to Andrew's source.
