Re: migration daemons and zeroconf

  Thanks for the reply.   For fat clients, I was thinking of letting
zeroconf do service broadcasting as well as the node discovery.  IE.  
ip 192.168.0.3 has a 1.7GHz proc with 512MB of free mem and a load of
.1.

I was looking at http://avahi.org/

  Main issue with using zeroconf is bloat over head. Using a custom
compact small daemon is amust when thinking about something that is
could be used in a diskless configuration. As an optional detection
system( the abilty to use multiple deamons was somethig I had looked
in too), for fat clients it would be great especially as zeroconf is
becoming more popular wiht major distrobutions.
