Yes, we could have some simple shared memory support, as long as it's clear to everybody that for certain apps this will kill performance. Florain- Shared libs. should be fine, shared memory is a problem. There was a second patch built to help resolve this issue in the 2.4 series. I think the plan is that after om gets working on 2.6. to make shared memory support part of the standard patch. Evan H.
