OpenMOSIX process migration mechanism

Hello,

How different is the process migration mechanism in
openmosix 2.6 from 2.4?
When I want to study the mechanism, which version
should I study from? I require this for a grid
computing project, possibly modifying openmosix in
manner where the communication with the nodes does not
just end with the nearest router.
