Yes, even a simple loop will die occasionally when the program exits. Sometimes I'll have to loop 100 times before I see the problem, other times it'll fail 9 out of 10 times. glibc-2.3.4-2 LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1 is the temporary fix. I'm no longer able to spend as much time on it as I was before so I definitely need help finding and fixing this bug. > > > So, to sum up, my next tasks are : > - check it works *all* fine > - fix the spin_lock things > - start looking at exec on remote > - make it smp safe > > tab told me online that having the exec on remote thing working will > bring openmosix-2.6 to the beta state, so we keep on going ! > > Florian > > BTW, of course this patch apply on top of the lasts I already sent. if > anyone is lost, please email me in private and I'll send all patches to > make sure. http://osource.org/openmosix/patches/series2/ for those interested. the x8664 patch is included. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
