How are openmosix syscalls declared?

Hi, The asm/kernel/entry.S file does not mention a single openmosix systemcall, and ends with 252, however if you check that user level unistd.h, it goes beyond 280+. I once heard of a limit to the number(270 I heard) of system calls one could declare in kernel 2.4.x, is anyone aware of it? Now if I want to make my own system call in a openmosix 2.4 system do I start form the last number in the unistd.h, say its 290, and put it in the entry.S file, or do I follow openmosix mechanism of defining sytem calls? I'm sorry for asking such a newbie question! But the disparity of number of system calls in entry.S and the user level unistd.h provoked this question.
