Openmosix suggestion?

I have been reading through the wiki etc... and I have an idea that I thought I would suggest to you openmosix experts. There are obviously some applications that cannot be migrated because they are using shared memory or pthreads. What if we put these applications behind a "virtualization layer"? Here is what I mean. When using vmware, you create a virtual machine and it talks to virtual hardware. What if we could start these applications and have it talk to virtual hardware controlled by openmosix. The openmosix processes would communicate between nodes and translate those virtual requests into physical requests giving the responses back to the originating process.=20 I am not a developer, just an SA, so if I have considered something that impossible, impractical or stupid, please accept my apologizes and help me understand.
