This is a quick report on our meeting at Oscon

In attendance were Wes Wagner, Dan Wilson, Jonathan Day, and a Guy named Guy
from CNET.

Essentially the consensus reached was to release openmosix 2.6.22 under a
new source tree with onyl the very core functionality in /core and any
additional code or extensions in their own sub branch. We do not have much
in the way of intent of porting userspace tools at this time as g4sra's
omuscd represents the bulk of functionality most people need.

Jonathan will be helping to setup and maintain the project mailing list. In
addition he has some modifications to propose and develop for upgrading the
wrapper methods for processes so wrapper migration would be more smooth
which would allow the graceful shutdown of process originating nodes.

Please watch the following space for the next few week. I expect rapid
developments:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/om-2-6/

We will also setup a skype-based conference call soon for future simple open
mosix meetings.

Our intended first deliverable is a basic functioning 2.6.22 open mosix
kernel that successfully migrates processes and the omuscd cluster
management daemon in a single easy to install package.
