You probably mean 64 bit Xeons. Intel really screwed up by using the name
Xeon for everything that is a better version of their desktop processor.

Bigger memory space for your tasks (duh!), and more registers that are
available in flat mode (at least on Opteron) are the first things that comes
to my mind.
