Hello, Ammad.

I've used the 2.4.26-om1 patches to create a patch for the kernel.org 
linux-2.4.32 sources. Unfortunately, process migration is not working 
properly in the 2.4.32-om1 kernel I compiled from the patched sources, 
but does work between 2.4.32-om1 and 2.4.26-om1. I'm not sure what the 
problem is but I don't have time to find out why just now.

When I mentioned this on the oMg list before, I said I do realise that 
the openMosix developers are putting all their efforts into getting a 
'production' quality 2.6 kernel, but I think it would be worthwhile 
continuing support for the 'production' 2.4 kernel by porting openMosix 
to the latest 2.4 kernel sources from kernel.org, because that will open 
up support for new hardware drivers very quickly.

There is a danger of 'production' openMosix clusters being upgraded to 
some other system when new hardware is purchased because e.g. in my case 
SATA drives are not supported in the 2.4.26 kernel. I think the effort 
involved in getting 2.4.32-om1 (or later) working would be worthwhile. 
I'm happy to upload what I've done somewhere if Florian wants them.

Moshe, Florian - what do you think about this idea?
