I have a test system running 2.6.17 om kernel on a i386 platform with omuscd - gentoo 2006.1 - it was only marginally tricky to get it running. My main concerns are amd and 64 bit architecture issues at this point, which is why I am asking if anyone has particular experience. I know I could use the i386/686 architecture on an amd processor and it would be compatible, but it would certainly not be optimal. -Wes Wagner On 6/2/07, best1 engineer <[email protected]> wrote: > > dear sir : > openmosix is under development for 2.6 kernel and i tried to use it for > gentoo , but let me advise u and told you dont try for gentoo becouse it is > complex work and i did not successe in gentoo , but use fedora core 1 with > 2.4 openmosix and it is ok > kind regard > > > > On 6/3/07, Wes Wagner <[email protected]> wrote: > > > Is anyone out there using openmosix 2.6 on the AMD architecture?
