Fwd: [Om-2-6-users] Openmosix 2.6.22 project still continuing

Hello,
to add my $0.02 - I think that a feature that would make it possible
to shut down the home node of some process would be great. If the
process needs to access the home nodes data, it will just wait until
the node is alive again. I think this is kind of similar to
checkpointing, but as OpenMOSIX is not a SSI cluster (all nodes don't
have the same resources) it is not really possible to just migrate the
process to another node and shutdown the home node AND keep the
process running. I think that just preserving that the process will
not crash would be quite good and useful (according to typical OM
usage scenario),
ideas?
