No, it does not; a SSI aggregates the ressources transparently.

For example (simplified) if you had a process on openmosix that query
the number of cpu or the amount of RAM, you'll have the amount of the
host you are running on. on a SSI, you'll have the amount of all the
ressource in the cluster.

As well, on a real SSI, you don't have stub processes that HAVE to stay
on the original host of the process, because your IO stuff (files,
network, ...) is the same on all machines of the cluster. This has
*never* *ever* been true on openmosix.
