Hi Peter,

just yesterday I have found
debian.uni-klu.ac.at/debian.uniklu/kernel-source/linux-2.4.31/
kbuild2-patches.sh
show the patches they use
 (for patches see patches directory)

as a minimum patch before appling ALL the OpenMosix patches (without errors) I 
need the
trustees patch.

I still use Dual-Opterons with 32 Bit and no SATA, but the resulting kernel 
is working for me and jobs are migrating. But of course I have no longterm 
experiences.
I have no problem with Tabs OpenMosix patch for 2.4.27, but 2.4.27 itself 
in my environment does not work as stable as 2.4.22
