I'm trying to bring up an OM cluster on a small cluster of 5 new Dell
Optiplex towers. Each runs a 2.4.31 kernel with
patch-2.4.31-om-migshm-no-mfs-20050716.bz2 applied. Initially this
appeared to work reasonably.

Then I fetched the openMosix Stress-Test from
http://www.openmosixview.com/omtest/ and have attempted to put a little
strain on the cluster. Running the first test distkeygen one time with a
mosmon in another window appeared to work, I can see the tasks begin and
jump to the other 4 nodes.

I made a small shell script wrapper to cleanup the files and run
distkeygen a few hundred times. This will cause the cluster to seize
within 5 minutes or so. Everytime. There are no messages I can find
anywhere - the only symptom is that the main node stops responding in
any fashion. Actually I do not know if the other 4 seize also. I suspect
not because after a power off/reboot, they come back just fine.

Any suggestions of what I might try? Some other version of OM that is
stable? Your thoughts would be appreciated TIA
