om-list - I'd like to get om + xen working on my laptop. I envision booting into xen, having a startup script launch a cluster of mosix virtual machines, and then I'll play around with launching different types of applications and using the mosix tools to watch and learn what's going on. If I can get all this working, then I'd like to follow up with a quick tutorial for setting this up, perhaps a flash demo and such. The coolest thing would be a boot cd (ala the xen demo cd) that has all this set up...and then anyone can boot and play with mosix on their laptop. As I'd prefer the system to be as stable as possible, what are my best options for installing this? 1) xen-unstable + bruces mosix patch - this is not working for me (see thread below), but I'd welcome any instructions to get this patch working 2) stable versions of both mosix and xen - i'm not sure if this layering is even possible, could someone in the know let me know before I embark on this path? 3) Perhaps this has already been done? if so, any links would be great. My ultimate goal is to learn what mosix 'feels' like and how it works, not to practice my kernel building fu. -Todd Bruce Knox wrote: > Todd, Tab will probably answer that for you.
