Hello,
I assume you are running linux machines. lam-mpi comes
with some configurations of this os. It was my
experience that lam-mpi and mpich installed together
do not play together well. I configured my sixteen
machine cluster without the lam-mpi install and then
installed mpich. If the lam-mpi is configured with the
os install trying to install mpich on top will leave
errors during the make.
