MP3 Encoding Scripts

Hi All,

I have a small cluster and want to use it to encode MP3's.

I have found various scripts on the Internet that will get info from a
CDDB database, use cdparanoia to rip the cd, save it as wav files and
then encode it to mp3's. Unfortunately these encode as they rip so it
does not make the best use of the cluster.

Does anyone know of a script that does the same job except that it will
encode the files after ripping them?

I am currently using RipIt to create the named wav files and then a
simple bash script to encode the wav files. This works but I don't get
tag information.

Thanks,

Chris
