I'm not sure what PCs you have but it is likely that kernel 2.4.xx (on
which OM is working, apart from not-yet-ready support for 2.6) will not
support your hardware.

I've recently got Supermicro AS1020A-T platforms with dual-dual-core
Opterons and even had problems with installing Fedora Core 4 (2.6.11) on
them (eventually succeeded with a driver disk for SATA controller).
