I'm curious if anyone out there is writing any useful code in C++ using fork() over openmosix? If so, what? And, yes, sample code would be appreciated! I remember doing some sort of a hello world program with fork() where each forked process would do some crazy product loop to induce load balancing. This was easily confirmed with openMosixView. However, what I'd like to do is control the forking processes and gather output from each fork(). Even a basic example like finding the numerical integral of 1/x from x=1 to x=2 to estimate ln(2) breaking up the area calculations, Reimann Rectangles, as a multiple of the number of nodes.
