Dear Felipe,
I think that OpenMosix (and Mosix in general) is a good solution for
your processing.
But, If you are in trouble with OpenMosix and SATA... you can try with
Mosix and SATA (http://www.mosix.org).
In fact, the OpenMosix is the opensource fork of Mosix project.
But, there is an official Mosix patch for 2.4.32 kernel.
I don't know when OpenMosix 2.6 will be released... but my hopes to see
openmosix 2.6 released this year are very little!! :-(
It seems that there is a very slow developing of OpenMosix 2.6 ... and
no more support for 2.4 kernels :-( :-(
I don't know why.
