The reason for the slow development is very simple. Very small
number of developers are having to both develop new code AND play
catchup with the main kernel tree on things that get changed there.
One of the reasons that teh 2.6 is slow coming out is teh developers
are trying to get it to a point where it can be accepted as a mainline
kernel patch. that will make future development a lot easier and
faster. THe reason that the 2.4.x is left behind is the same, not
enough developers to cover both trees.
If you wna tto track the devlopment get on teh openmosix-developers
list. That is alsu list where you most likely find someone willing to
point out flaws/bugs in patches. But remember to be nice and
understand that there is only a limited amount of developer power to
go around.
