bonding question

Hello,

I have set up bonding, with two switches, but i dont get the double amount
of network speed,is it possibill that the default bonding mode of the
kernel module ( round robbin) is a high availability mode, equal that if
one card fails the second will be used, how do i get the network speed up
to the double in a bonded network....

 any suggestions.. i supose someone on the list has experience with that ..
