We're doing some experiments at work using bonded infiniband
connections.  I'll copy the list the experimental results when we

you should see output of the ifenslave commands in your syslog telling
you immedeatly which mode it uses and which nics are becoming active.


Bonding is no default guarantee for higher performance, however
depending on the memory footprint of your application you might indeed
see benefit.

We've seen giant perfomance improvements in the past when upgrading from
10 Mb networks to FireWire (back in the stone ages) but most of it
depends on your apps.
