Im not entirely sure on the entirety of your problem, and I don't use
Red Hat or have any idea about the state of the rpm's.

openMosixview is not needed for a functional openMosix setup and only
provides some basic functionality from within a GUI on an already
existing setup.

As long as you are using the 2.4.26 oM kernel and using the
corresponding user space tools, then everything is good to go.

Is it just a problem with openMosixview or your openMosix tools/kernel?
