Hi all, I have a little OM cluster, 6 (only 3 running now) nodes like this: $ uname -a Linux node4.xtal 2.4.26-om1 #5 SMP Mon Mar 20 15:06:48 CET 2006 i686 Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 3.06GHz GNU/Linux I've noticed that programs that write to stdout/stderr or a file have some troubles when migrating, meaning that they simply crash. If I comment out the lines involved in giving output messages I can migrate easily. I read that OM and high I/O software are not best friends, so I wonder how can I solve this. First of all, I would like to know why high I/O = crash in migrations, secondly, which parameters should I tune to prevent migration of I/O programs?
