Just a brief email to say that I have sucessful migration on 2 nodes
using a simple test with the tried and tested:
awk 'BEGIN {for(i=0;i<10000;i++)for(j=0;j<10000;j++);}' &
(using a user and group of 500 or greater)
Although the init.d script works, the redhat functions are of course
missing from within Gentoo and a few directory locations differ.
I will have more nodes up and more time to play over this weekend.
Would you like me to write a Gentoo init.d script and send you a
little information of where the config should be located on Gentoo (I
should also have some time for this over the weekend too)
I am also interested in knocking together a Gentoo ebuild for the oM
kernel and omuscd... when I get around to it... :)
I will keep you posted
