Hi Andy, nice to hear that you got the password-less ssh-login working on your nod= es. You can check if it is working with openMosixview by e.g.=20 increasing/decreasing the nodes speed in the main window. This will result in a remote-mosctl=20 command via ssh on the node you are moving the slider. On the node you can check if the command was executed correctly by runnin= g the mosctl util locally and compare the speed to what openMosixview displ= ays (-> should be the same) You can also check /var/log/messages on the remote node for any ssh-login= s while executing a openMosix command via openMosixview. For getting the openMosixprocs working you need to have the openMosixproc= s installed on each of your cluster-nodes. Also you need to set "xhost +" to allow the remote nodes to open X-window= s application (-> openMosixprocs) on the main/local display (the=20 workstations X on the system you are running openMosixview on). Be aware to do this only=20 in trusted-networks because setting "xhost +" is unsecure. It will allow all nodes to=20 display X-apps on your display. You can also set "xhost +[cluster-nodes-hostname]" for=20 each of your cluster-nodes to get a better security. btw: for getting the openMosixprocs working you need to make sure that yo= ur default ssh-client setup supports X-forwarding. You can enable/disable th= is in /etc/ssh/ssh_config on your system you are running openMosixview on. -> ForwardX11 yes You can check if this option is enabled by login in to one of your=20 remote nodes by "ssh [cluster-nodes-hostname]" and running openMosixprocs from the=20 console. The openMosixprocs application window should be opened on your local=20 systems X-windows. If not please try the same but login by "ssh -X [cluster-node-hostname]". If the first did not work but the second you need to adjust your ssh_conf= ig. If you still have problems with that please try to run openMosixview by=20 the strace command. e.g. "strace openmosixview" Then execute some openMosix-commands or move the sliders. The output of=20 the strace would be intresting and usefull to help you better. many thanks and stay tuned, Matt Andres De Carlo wrote: > Hello guys: > > I am able to connect ssh from either of my nodes without being prompt=20 > for a password or either a passphrase, that=92s right.
