Category: Booting / init Group: v1.9.1 >Status: Closed Resolution: Out of Date Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: boot of dependant node fails from time to time Initial Comment: Small home cluster (i.e. 6 Nodes, 1 initnode, highly heterogenious machines i.e. old PCs). OpenSSI 1.9.1 based on Debian Sarge "Main", Kernel from CVS checked out from FC branch on January 12 2006. >From time to time I have the situation, that the boot of a dependent node stops after the lines ... Unmounting /sys Unmounting /proc Starting init cfs_remote_mount: Ignorign server failure ... (last line repeated, eg. 3 times ...) When this behaviour occurs, then no new dependant node can boot. I need a reboot of my initnode to recover from this error. What diagnostic material shall I provide? (How to generate that?)
