Category: Filesystem Group: 1.9 Status: Open >Resolution: Accepted Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Roger Tsang (rogertsang) Assigned to: Roger Tsang (rogertsang) Summary: NFS export CFS stacked PFS with depreciated iget() support Initial Comment: Some file systems in kernel-2.6 no longer support iget(). For example XFS. To NFS export these CFS stack mounts, CFS export operations code path will have to phase out PFS iget() calls. Though I haven't attempted to trigger any oops we expect to see fh_verify() in the NFS stack trace when the file system exported by CFS is not supported. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Roger Tsang (rogertsang) Date: 2008-04-20 13:50 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1246761 Originator: YES Checked into CVS. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Roger Tsang (rogertsang) Date: 2008-04-06 13:18 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1246761 Originator: YES CFS no longer using iget() in 2.0.0pre3 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=405837&aid=1925610&group_id=32541 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by the 2008 JavaOne(SM) Conference Don't miss this year's exciting event.
